Revit on the Big Jobs!

Don’t miss the presentation by Kyle Bradley from Multiplex about Revit on a BIG Project from a contractor’s point of view.

Kyle Bradley  – Engineerkyle-bradley

Captain Kyle Bradley studied a bachelor of Civil Engineering of Commerce at UWA. He gained experience in bulk earthwork and civil services projects before making the change to Construction with Multiplex. He has been engaged on the Perth City Busport in Commercial, Perth Stadium in Planning and BIM coordination, and now, Mandurah forum shopping centre as a design coordinator. Kyle has developed his leadership and coordination skills through his Army Reserve service, including operational command of over 40 personnel and overall management of WA’s horizontal military construction assets. Kyle brings knowledge from multiple construction departments together with his understanding of software interaction and project requirements to deliver Revit’s translation to construction.

This will be followed by a discussion with Belinda Thompson (GHD) and Steve Langley (GHD – Laing O’Rourke) chaired by Ario Susanto (Hassell).

It is shaping up to be another cracker this month starting with a presentation by Kyle Bradley from Multiplex about Revit on a BIG Project from a contractor’s point of view, followed by a discussion including Belinda Thompson and Steve Langley chaired by Ario Susanto

computer-lab

We will then split up into two groups for Revit lab sessions.  We have had requests to provide hands on training at both a basic and more advanced level, so we will see how that works this month.

The beginners lab will be run by Richard Currie, Architect and BIM Manager for Oldfield Knott Architects.  Shane Brown from Cadgoup will take the intermediate lab to show off some more advanced workflows, tips and tricks.  These lab sessions are there for us all to learn so pick a room, get hands on and share your thoughts.
